Manufacturing Engineering Lead

📍 Based in Senago (Italy) with travel to Basaluzzo and Barcelona

📢 Operations & Engineering | Full-time | Leadership role

Are you a strategic and hands-on engineering leader ready to shape the future of manufacturing across multiple European sites? We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Lead to join our team and play a key role in optimizing, standardizing, and scaling our production processes across Italy and Spain.

This is a high-impact role that bridges design and manufacturing, working closely with R&D, Quality, IT/Data, and Production to ensure our operations are robust, efficient, and aligned with both technical and business goals.

🔍 What You’ll Do

As Manufacturing Engineering Lead, you will:

  1. Own product codification and modular BOMs to ensure correct configurations, traceability, and manufacturability.
  2. Standardize and optimize production processes, routings, layouts, and documentation across sites.
  3. Act as a strategic link between engineering and the shop floor, ensuring data integrity and seamless process execution.
  4. Lead cost transparency efforts, analysing cost drivers (labour, material, scrap, cycle time) and collaborating with Finance and Procurement on cost optimization.
  5. Champion lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen, SMED, VSM) and lead new product industrialization (NPI).
  6. Mentor and manage a small team of engineers/technicians, fostering development and technical excellence.

🛠️ What You Bring

  1. Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  2. 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally in HVAC, fans, or electromechanical systems.
  3. Deep understanding of product codification, BOM structuring, and variant management.
  4. Experience with ERP/PLM systems, and ideally CPQ for configurable products.
  5. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Proven track record in lean manufacturing, process improvement, and cost analysis.

🌍 Why Join Us?

  1. Drive the standardization and scalability of our European manufacturing system.
  2. Be at the heart of product lifecycle and operational excellence.
  3. Work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment with global exposure.
  4. Competitive compensation & benefits package.
  5. Shape the future of how we build and deliver our products.

💡 Quick Snapshot: Your 5 Core Missions

  1. Product Variant Standardization – Reduce complexity, drive modular thinking.
  2. Codification & BOM Governance – Ensure all configurations are production-ready and traceable.
  3. Process Design & Optimization – Scale production with smart layouts, lean principles, and clear SOPs.
  4. New Product Industrialization – Partner with R&D to ensure Design for Manufacturability.
  5. Cross-functional Alignment & Cost Integrity – Bridge teams and systems to drive efficiency and accuracy.
