Are you a strategic and hands-on engineering leader ready to shape the future of manufacturing across multiple European sites? We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Lead to join our team and play a key role in optimizing, standardizing, and scaling our production processes across Italy and Spain.
This is a high-impact role that bridges design and manufacturing, working closely with R&D, Quality, IT/Data, and Production to ensure our operations are robust, efficient, and aligned with both technical and business goals.
🔍 What You’ll Do
As Manufacturing Engineering Lead, you will:
- Own product codification and modular BOMs to ensure correct configurations, traceability, and manufacturability.
- Standardize and optimize production processes, routings, layouts, and documentation across sites.
- Act as a strategic link between engineering and the shop floor, ensuring data integrity and seamless process execution.
- Lead cost transparency efforts, analysing cost drivers (labour, material, scrap, cycle time) and collaborating with Finance and Procurement on cost optimization.
- Champion lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen, SMED, VSM) and lead new product industrialization (NPI).
- Mentor and manage a small team of engineers/technicians, fostering development and technical excellence.
🛠️ What You Bring
- Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally in HVAC, fans, or electromechanical systems.
- Deep understanding of product codification, BOM structuring, and variant management.
- Experience with ERP/PLM systems, and ideally CPQ for configurable products.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record in lean manufacturing, process improvement, and cost analysis.
